De Fiets Soigneur: the story behind the name

In 2018, Ron Lute combined his years of experience in car detailing with his passion for cycling. He launched Proteam Bicycle Care, a brand specialising in high-quality bicycle coatings and care products.

Good results start with craftsmanship. Training courses for bicycle retailers and new entrepreneurs developed into specialist courses covering steam cleaning, polishing gloss paint, deep-cleaning matte finishes and applying ceramic coatings. Hydro Coating was joined by a professional Graphene Coating, which requires careful preparation and the right application techniques.

Bike Armour also became part of the range. This transparent protective film helps protect paint from stone chips and abrasion caused by bikepacking bags.

De Fiets Soigneur brings this knowledge and experience together. Bicycle detailing is a specialist craft: care for paint, frames and components, with a treatment suited to the bicycle and the way it is used.
