Ceramic coating:

What does a ceramic coating do for your bicycle?

A ceramic coating forms a thin protective layer on the paint. Its water- and dirt-repellent properties make maintenance easier and help keep the finish looking cared for.

The result starts with preparation

We first assess the condition of your bicycle. Gloss paint can be polished to treat light marks and dull areas. Matte paint receives an appropriate deep clean. We then apply the coating carefully and allow it to cure.

Hydro Coating or Graphene Coating

At De Fiets Soigneur in Limmen, we work with two coatings from Proteam Bicycle Care. Explore the differences between Hydro Coating and Graphene Coating. The right treatment depends on your bicycle, how you ride and how you maintain it.

For vulnerable contact points exposed to rubbing bikepacking bags, we can also discuss Bike Armour PPF.

Good to know:

After application, the coating must cure for at least 12 hours under controlled conditions. This treatment cannot be completed while you wait.
